Maitri Grants Program

Through the Maitri Grants Program, the Australian Government has invested more than $15 million to support over 70 projects that deepen connections across education, culture, and policy. These grants foster collaboration, creative exchange, scholarships, and academic and policy dialogue — building enduring partnerships between our two countries.

This video was premiered at the Centre’s inaugural Maitri Showcase on 1 October 2025 at the Sofitel Grand Ballroom in Melbourne, where 250 leaders from government, business, arts, culture, and community gathered to celebrate the friendship between Australia and India, the impact of the Maitri Grants Program, and the invaluable contributions of our Maitri grantees.
