On Wednesday, 1 October 2025 the Centre for Australia–India Relations hosted its inaugural Maitri Showcase at the Sofitel Grand Ballroom in Melbourne.
We welcomed 250 leaders from across government, business, arts, culture, and community for an evening that truly celebrated the spirit of the Australia–India relationship. From the inspiring keynote address by the Hon. Anne Aly MP, to the vibrant Indian dance performance, interactive art activation, and insightful panel with our Maitri grantees, the Showcase reflected the creativity, collaboration, and connection at the heart of Maitri.
It was wonderful to come together to recognise the impact of the Maitri program and the bonds it continues to strengthen between our nations.
